Alex has over 25 years’ experience representing and advising clients on a wide range of matters including disputes involving relationship property, wills and estates, elder law, equity and trusts. She has dealt with cases at all levels of the New Zealand court system including the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.

Alex has particular experience in acting for clients in family law cases under the Property (Relationship) Act 1976, Family Protection Act 1955, Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988 and Testamentary Promises Act including proceedings involving breach of fiduciary duty by trustees. Alex also has expertise in dealing with applications under the Administration Act 1969 and the Trustee Act 1956 including applications for the removal of administrators and trustees. She has also acted for clients in estate matters involving lack of testamentary capacity and undue influence.
